Peters Theme

I made the hunters Theme music video using a music software called mixcraft 5 to make. In the video I needed to record the piano track. I first took the whole peter and the wolf video and in mix craft I cropped the clip to the part where the wolf theme was there. Afterwards I mute the music and then record the music I played using the piano. And then I saved it to mix down to WM V.

I learned how to play the peters theme because i kept listening to music to continuously to understand ho to play the piece of music. I could improve on the length of the sound next time i should improve this by always adjusting the length of the sound to make the music perfect. The best bit of work was the video because i edited and cropped the video properly.I struggled again with editing and i solved the problem by asking the teacher or a student in the class and watch you tube videos regarding how to use mix craft so I can develop my understanding and my skills. I used my prior knowledge by obviously using my mixcraft skills from previous lessons that I learned and also using my piano playing skills.  I think this unit is a very interesting unit but also needs to be put a lot of hard work into but it is still very fun.

Hunters Theme

I learned how to play the music by first clapping the rhythm and then I learned the notes of the piano and then i learned to to play it on a piano and keyboard. I think i could improve on the editing of the video meaning i could do a better job at cropping and changing the length of the sound or note I played. i could identify this by cropping the video and using a little bit more skills. I think the best bit of work was the recording of me playing the piano because the length of each notes were pretty good for the first time that I'm using mixcraft. I struggled on nothing to do with playing the piece of music but I struggled with editing because it was the first time I was using mixcraft.  overcame it by asking the the teacher and if I still didn't understand I would watch you tube videos or ask a friend. I used my prior knowledge by remembering the rhythm. i think this unit is a very interesting unit but also needs to be put a lot of hard work into but it is still very fun

Wolf's Theme Reflection

I made a Wolf's theme music video in a music software called mixcraft 5. In the video I needed to record the piano track. I first took the whole peter and the wolf video and in mix craft I cropped the clip to the part where the wolf theme was there. Afterwards I mute the music and then record the music I played using the piano. And then I saved it to mix down to WM V. I learned how to use a new music software (mixcraft), I learned how to play the piano, I learned the treble clef and notes and also learned how to play a piano.I improved my work by changing the instrument so it doesn't sound like a piano and I corrected the length of the sound. I found out I needed to change the instrument when I saw the paper with the music and the instrument that is used to play. I think the best bit of work was the recording because our recording was perfect and my partner and me corrected all the mistakes. I struggled with the part where we had to record because me and my partner had understand how to play the music and we had to listen to the clip constantly to understand and this is because we didn't know how to play the piano. I asked one of the students in the class how to play one of the notes "the C#". I used my prior knowledge about how the piano works. I think this unit is interesting because we tried many different things and explored mixcraft.

    Duck's Theme

I made the duck's theme music video as I said using a music software called mixcraft.

I first took the whole peter and the wolf video and then I cropped it to where the ducks theme is, then I listened to the piece of music and mute it and recorded me playing the piano. I edited the clip and then saved the video to mixdown to WM V. I learned how to play the ducks theme and I also learned to change the length of the sound for each note. I improved my work by changing the instruments and changing little bits of the recording and video to look perfect. I found out I had to change bits of the video and music because it didn't sound correct when I listened. I think the best bit of work was the part is the video even though it's not good quality. I struggled with understanding how to play he music because the notes were a little confusing. I overcame by listening to the music again and again and also asking other students in my class that how I need to play this particular note.Like I said this unit is interesting because we use mixcraft and we basically learn music in a very fun way.I used knowledge from the previous lesson by always changing the sound and the instrument which makes the video sound Better!
